SKYFALL!!

I just saw Skyfall with Fahye and Mum this afternoon - ran straight from work to the cinemas, and then sat through half an hour of ads in an almost empty theatre before the actual movie started. (Is it just me, or do the pre-movie ads get longer each time? I wouldn't mind just movie trailers, but no! And why was the movie theatre nearly empty? This is JAMES BOND we're talking about!)

But ohh, the beginning of the movie has the most amazing chase scene. Just like the chase scenes in the Bourne movies! SO MUCH AWESOME. The whole movie was awesome and well-written and the plot was DECENT and there was lots of pretty London and Scotland in it :D

And Daniel Craig was his usual brilliant rugged-Bond self, and Naomie Harris was pretty badass too. And we got to have lots of Judi Dench as M!! She really didn't get enough screen time in the other two movies, but they fixed that for this one! And there was lots of Ralph Fiennes, I didn't even know he was going to be in it :D

THEN ENTER BEN WHISHAW, oohhhh I love him :DD (Though he has a terrible picture in imdb, actually) His Q is FANTASTIC, it was great seeing him as a walking definition of 'hipster' and arguing with Bond about the merits of youth :D And I also seem to have developed a thing about hacker characters in movies, so, you know . . . extra weakness here.

And the opening credits with Adele!! Perfect! XD In summary: movie was everything I was hoping it would be. Thank you, Bond franchise, please continue making awesome movies for me to watch!
